I just got off the phone with a sweet girl struggling through a "polling"script that, after some meandering camouflage, included a litany of Healy's foibles and a litany of Smith's "accomplishments". "Does this make you: much more likely to vote for him, likely, or makes no difference?"

I usually hang up on pollers, but I was feeling mellow and charitable. When I asked at the beginning, she said she didn't know who was paying. I knew by the end. I also told her if it was a push poll I was hanging up. When she got to the push I said goodbye and she begged me to stay on so she could get a complete poll. Poor thing.

The hardest question was who would I vote for in a Smith-Cunningham runoff. I said it was like asking me did I want to be shot or hanged. I did say Smith however.

I got one of those calls tonight too. It was very obvious about who was paying for the survey after a few questions.

I just got that call too! So obvious and annoying! I hung up when they started listing Healy's foibles.

They should add the question: Does this push poll make you more or less likely to vote for Smtih?
