It is a bit of a hike from JC, but I've been seeing Avery Scheiner on 79th Street in Manhattan for various things since 2003 and he has always been really nice, plus his staff is efficient. He's very good about explaining why he's recommending a particular treatment, what to expect, and listening to any concerns.
He does take insurance, not sure about United but he's accepted the various plans I've been on throughout the years.

When my company has a skin cancer screening event, they hire Dr. Adolfo Fernandez-Obregon from Hoboken. I saw him twice for the skin cancer screening at work. He's a pleasant person. I don't know how his staff or office is like.

Anyone have a good one, can be in within 30 minute drive or somewhere in Manhattan. however, i am looking for someone that takes insurance, preferably united healthcare but it doesn't have to be. i check ratemd.com but i seem to get mixed reviews... hoping someone here had a good recommendation/experience. any info would be appreciated. thanks
