Cops said a disturbance in Jersey City on Sunday night was a family affair.
Police were dispatched to Grant Avenue between Bergen Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 7:30 p.m. on a report of a fight between family members, but the combatants were gone when they arrived.
A little after 10 o'clock, they were called back to the same address by a 35-year-old woman who told cops that the people who had been fighting earlier had returned with friends, including one man who was wearing a black glove on his right hand. That man reached around his back and pulled out a handgun, which he held up above his head.
The woman said she ran and called 911 while the gunman and others got into a green Mitsubishi Galant and drove away.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Jersey City Police Department at (201) 547-JAIL.
