Part of the problem is the *brilliant* move to send all turnpike traffic directly onto Columbus rather than sending some down Montgomery. In addition, since Greene Street is closed at Washington Blvd, the "best route" to Hoboken is only one lane on Washington Street until Washington Blvd.

its not just that intersection, but marin all the way north to shoprite. 1 lane artery north is ridiculous, at least until the CF around washington and trump opens up.

Is is just me or this one of the biggest cluster f*ck intersections in Jersey City. I would ask who is responsible but one would have to go back decades I am sure. 100's of more cars vying for space in the coming years. I presume all the bucks spent for last years traffic study will address this in some way. I also hope JC gets more serious on making our current roads more bike friendly.
