Cops: Took bat to power box
Wednesday, January 30, 2008 A Jersey City man was arrested after attacking a streetlight electrical box with a baseball bat Monday night, officials said. Willie Hill, 34, of Garfield Avenue, was charged with arson, reports said. A witness told police Hill was hitting the box with the bat at Woodlawn and Garfield avenues and then torched it, reports said, adding that the witness said Hill had attacked the same electrical box with a bat about six months earlier.
