I also saw Mos Def, in the Grove Point Starbucks, about two weeks ago. Does this mean he's moved here?

Queen Latifah, used to live a block from me about 7 yrs ago or so. I saw her all the time dressed down in the neighborhood. I'm sure she has moved since.

I saw LL Cool J driving on Palisade Ave between Reservoir and Prospect, (He waved hello to me.)

Idris Elba lived in the same Condo I lived in about 7 years ago for about a year. He told me he was an actor from London, England but I had no idea who he really was until he moved out and became big here. (Really Nice guy and a good neighbor)

And my husband and I saw Ice T in that pet store on newark ave about 2 months ago. He was with some blonde sexy vixen who was clearly a Goldigger!!!

LOL. I have no idea!

For those who aren't familiar with the guy, he's a Grammy Award-winning rapper and actor.

Those unfamiliar with him can read all about him on his Wikipedia page.

Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Sushi Tango on Jersey Avenue catching up with Grace who happened to be bartending that night.

She was laughing about how one of her regular customers was recently there with Felipe Rose of the Village People.

But she didn't recognize him because he wasn't wearing his costume!

I almost fell out of my chair when I was flipping through DirecTV channels (while I was out of town) and bumped into the show called "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on the Food Network.

It's hosted by Guy Fieri, the energetic "celebrity chef" in those TGI Fridays commercials who also hosts "Guy's Big Bite" and won the Food Network's first "Next Food Network Star" contest.

So why was I surprised? Guy Fieri was standing at the corner of Grand Street and Jersey Avenue -- right in front of the Brownstone Diner!

He zipped inside, hung out with the owners and kitchen staff, made everything from pancakes to moussaka with the Brownstone posse, and then visited with quite a few customers while they were happily dining at their tables.

Brownstone Diner even has a video of the show's segment featured on their website.

I know we're too cool to care, but Mos Def was just on Grove Street, chatting on his phone outside Post Net.

I had a literal run in with Ralph from the Stern show around 7 or 8 years ago. I was standing on the express line at Shop Rite minding my own business when Ralph slammed into me to get a basket from under the conveyor belt. I can't help but think he did it on purpose to be a douchebag (No. Big. Surprise.). The line was extremely short and I was at the end of it so he could have easily gone around me.

Back in 1999 or 2000 The Sopranos filmed outside of my apt bldg on Hamilton Park. I saw James Gandolfini.

What about that world renown celebrity, woman magnet and symbol of health and vitality known only as fat-ass-bike.

I heard his name is mentioned by all walks of life and throughout the world - especially the fat-ass part, by the youth of the today.

We did a thread like this a while ago, the list of celebrities was embarrassingly pathetic. But anyway, John Hammond Jr. used to/maybe still does live downtown. Jimmy Roselli (who?) lives in the Heights. Beetlejuice of the Howard Stern show lived in JC.

I don't know James Rebhorn by name, but after looking at the link Newsboy gave I would know his face if I saw him. The Game which has been on Cinemax lately. He is a good character actor. Most people would recognize him from Meet the Parents. He also played the dean in Scent of a Woman.
