Although, it's been a little harder to get to recently because of all the roadway construction, I've used Uhaul on Tonnele Ave to refill my tank. It's only like $17.

With Gary's Propane now closed, does any one know another refill (rather than exchange) place?

We got ours from E-ZGas which is on Tonnelly southbound side before the jughandle going up to Manhattan Ave. Happy BBQ-ing!

The Sunoco gas station on Grand across from the Pathmark has a Blue Rhino tank exchange.

hey funky,

we usually go to Home Depot or Lowes, both down on 440 - it's painless and easy... there's also some little gas hut between the heights and those places on the west side of 440, across from the repo auto sales place (is it 440 and Sip), that has refil capabilities....

enjoy the grilling!

That would be Gary's Gas. He actually fills, as opposed to everyone else that does the Blue Rhino tank exchange thing.

don't know where you live but the 14th St Farmer's Market (that nursery by the Turnpike on-ramp) also refills tanks. If you're downtown with no transpo, that might be closer to you.

They have propane tanks at the Garden Center that is in the area between the Holland Tunnel entrance/exit lanes. Around Jersey Ave I believe. They exchange an empty for a full cylinder rather than filling it on the spot.

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions to where one can get a propane tank for an outdoor BBQ Grill refilled? Any local gas stations that might refill propane? Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

Oh, and any suggestion that are close to transportation would be great too.. as I don't have a vehicle. I'm hailing from the heights...
