Hello Randolph Ave! I patrolled with your group last year. Another group is the www.embankment.org. they have a great understanding of the system. Align yourself with the others who are fighting as well....

Thank you Althea, will do.

I'm getting great leads as how to best pursue this matter thanks to this board and it's readers.

Have you tried getting in contact with Civicjc.org? I bet they have plenty of suggestions and know of various neighborhood organizations that have undergone the same situation.

Hello Fellow Jersey City Communities,

Our community located in Greenville, proximity with the Garfield Avenue Light Rail Stop is experiencing the effects of developers desire to drop a nine story building and and adddition two floors of underground parking connected to our property lines. Our residents have met on three occasions and we are unanimously against the proposed structure.

Our block association has only been in existence for a bit over a year and we have had great success with crime and quality of life. We've also been involved in the environment and testing for chromium lead by ICO.

We are seeking help in the way of advice from anyone able to assits.

There is a website for posting comments anonymously. There is also more information concerning this matter under the Morris Canal Redevelopment section.

Please post any information that might help in leading our efforts in approaching the Planning Board as well as City Council with resident's concerns as this Plan must be ammended through City Council if approved by the Planning Board.
