Does anyone have any idea why they may have been here? ( (Besides the bagels). Do you suppose they were just cutting through downtown to get to the tunnel? Was Justin driving?

Random..

Jersey City, NJ- After getting their carb fix at Wonder Bagel, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis headed back to their vehicle—where Ashton held the door open for his girlfriend.

MAMARAMA is astonishing.
My friends and I are obsessed with it.
The over-intellectualizing of even the most basic aspects of motherhood are all well and good for the small percentage of those who have time to stop and think about them.

How have hard pressed working mothers and poor people with large broods survived without this show? Instinct, tradition, and family. Not 3 wheeled strollers, prenatal yoga, and baby einstein dvds.

I was intrigued enough to explore her Vlogs (basically her public access show mixed in with her personal life).
The presentation style is compelling, this woman uses more hand gestures than an Italian traffic policeman and cannot let her guests speak without nodding her head in dumb acquiescence.
As a woman who has worked in network television I can tell you that Mamarama has steep road to climb.

Mrasg1, are you trying to say you saw ZZ Top? Or are you just being a big bore? Maybe we are all tools for being impressed with celebrity, but whatever -- get off this thread if you're bored by our discussion.

Mamarama, you are so beautiful. You deserve a network show.

Julie Stiles shot an indy film at Seton Hall Law School in Nwk, so maybe she considers herself an honorary Jersey Girl? I doubt it, though, because she was born in NYC.

Also, her first performance role was with New York's La MaMa Theatre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Stiles), which I argue evidences a connection (however tenuous) to the Stiles and Mararama sightings.

Seriously, Jayne, work on that network show.

I don't know if anyone watches the show, bu I thought that The Bachelorette showed a scene filmed at Liberty State Park last night.

Maybe I should have said "local celebrity." She has a show on Jersey City Public Access that is on at nights when we're flipping around the channels.

Oh well, different strokes

You know, I have to admit I have no idea what Seetharaman Narayanan looks like, but I saw Thomas Knoll in person once!

no idea about that celebrity. explanation might be in order. I did see a dog on the playground, dog in the pet free area and everyone having an amazingly good time. Our park turned out GREAT! best in the city by far and worth the wait. Now don't mess it up.

I just walked through the park (it looks fantastic by the way) and I passed Mamarama. It was really cool being able to see her in person. She was on the phone so I didn't want to bother her but my fiancee and I love her TV show.

It's rather embarrassing, but look what I just stumbled across in cyberspace:

Perez Hilton's snarky Hollywood gossip blog mentioned Jersey City this weekend.

I've cut and pasted the photo as well as Perez Hilton's ramblings down below. Heheh.

Shia's Looking Sharp

So dapper!

Shia LaBeouf spent his Saturday afternoon in Jersey City filming for the upcoming Oliver Stone flick, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.

And Shia was looking pretty damn seks!

If only LaDouche always dressed like this!

Wishful thinking.

Stone is actually currently working on a sequel to Wall Street. I wouldn't be surprised to find him filming on this side of the river.

A tale of 2 cities it is. You don't have to share the wealth to be neighbors there are plenty of cities and towns that share the land but not the fruits of it. Atlantic City for one, even Newark. And look at Manhattan there are seedy areas, absentee landlord buildings, and people that are renting. Try going to a ballgame in the Bronx big bucks in a poor neighborhood. It's bizarre; I think I'll become a Japanese Amish Monk.

Just wanna point out that whoever said Martha Stewart grew up in JC, I think you're wrong.

I'm pretty sure she grew up in Nutley, NJ.

So did Annie Oakley.

Somebody ask Jon Stewart if the teenagers pulled the fire alarm in the movie theatre as they are want to do every three days.

I've seen Patrice O'Neil downtown several times, but (a) he's from JC and (b) many people reading this post may likely ask, "who the ___ is Patrice O'Neil ??"

My band played with the Honey Brothers at Maxwells a few years back. They were pretty nice guys. I felt bad for Adrian because girls were trying to take pictures of him peeing in that tiny bathroom. Wait a minute...I don't feel bad, I am jealous! haha

I also heard Danny Glover was spotted at Bar Majestic last night...don't know if it's true.
