Perhaps this is an opportunity to get a properly sized fountain like in VVP instead of that ridiculous miniature. Somehow the specification was left to the contractor working from an old postcard! So they got the cheapest possible one that looked the same.

Too bad it was not a Confederate statue. No crime no foul.

JERSEY CITY -- A fountain in Hamilton Park was vandalized Sunday night, leading to frustration and anger for those who live in the neighborhood and frequent the park.

The cast-iron water fountain located near Eighth Street and Jersey Avenue entrance to the park was knocked over by vandals and then carted away by city workers Monday morning.

More
