Since you know how to disconnect it, have you tried running a dryer vent brush through it first? Does it look dirty from where you disconnected it?

Sorry if this was discussed before but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have recommendations for a company to assess if my dryer ductwork has a blockage and if so for them to clean it out? It's a new condo, but my dryer indicates there is a blockage and I want to see if the ductwork was installed properly. I disconnected the ductwork from the unit and ran a few cycles without it venting outside and it ran much better without any error codes.

Thanks!
