Have none of you been around long enough to remember the epic thread on JC's postal service gripes??? I think the general consensus is that JC boasts the worst USPS outposts in all of the US. Search for it here in JCLIST.

PS
And, yes, I have seen some USPS delivery people that definitely lack in the standards department.

I know what my postwoman looks like. I've seen her sitting on a stoop eating a sandwich. The postal service in JC seems casual about everything.

Same dude was in my lobby around 5pm last night; also in Paulus Hook. Despite his lack of a uniform I thought he was legitimately delivering the mail. Maybe I was wrong.

Noticed a suspicious individual sifting through peoples mail yesterday on Sussex street between Warren and Washington yesterday. He had an old USPS pushcart with no mail in it, and he was dressed in ordinary shorts and tee-shirt. Slightly heavy, African-American male around six feet tall. 911 refused to take my call since the USPS has their own police force. Called their number and got an answering machine.
