As great as it will be to have the corners be ADA compliant, not more than five feet away we have broken pavement caused the tree's root system breaking through. A wheelchair will still need to traverse that before getting to the corner. I did notice that part of that root system did extend into the corners and they removed part of the root. Here's hoping that the tree doesn't now topple onto a homeowner's property or worse someone.

Now that makes sense, a lot of those corners weren't all that suitable for wheelchair-ridden people

There have been a bunch of street closings in that area during the day. Seems like they're laying a lot of new piping

While I'm clearly not an expert on civil engineering, I'm really curious as to what was wrong with the two corners on this intersection that got completely torn up today. It also seems that the east side stretch where Villa Borinquen is at is also slated to get torn up (preliminary jackhammer holes already dug).

What's being done to it and what was wrong with it in the first place that required this to happen?
