Called to 127 Arlington Ave. near Myrtle Avenue at 9:38 p.m., police met a Flemington man who said three men had just robbed him, reports said. The victim said that after taking the order for Jade House Chinese Kitchen, he called to confirm it and a man told him he would be waiting on the porch to receive the food, police said. But after he arrived and climbed the stairs to the house, three men jumped out from behind some bushes and pushed him through the front door, reports said. Inside the house, the men punched and kicked the victim while he was on the floor and took $700 in cash, reports said. Then one of the robbers held an object as though it were a gun to the back of the victim?s head and ordered him to count to 200, to give the robbers time to flee, police said.
