FYI - Pizza Alla Garguilo is opening next Monday... If you stop by while they are working on the place (during the day) you can grab a menu.

For the person who asked about Van Houtte - looks like it still has a long way to go

I wonder if it will be family owned place and Italian. I hate those corporate wannbee owned joints.

I walked by again this morning and there is a soda machine and tables/chairs in there. I'm hoping to run into the owner or someone who knows when they will open

I've walked by a couple times and it looks like the storefront/windows are finished and they are doing work on the inside... not sure when they are expecting to open but I am looking forward to it! Work is also being done on the Van Houtte Cafe in Montgomery Greene

The old Telly's Pizza place that burnt down on Greene Street is being renovated into "Gargulio's Pizza", the facade is done and the inside looks not far from completion.
