Derek at Marco's makes a KILLER bloody Mary. Ask if it's his mix when you order it. They have a couple of bartenders.

The best Bloody Mary I had so far in J.C. was at Skinners Loft.It tasted great and was presented the way you would expect in a fine restaurant.Don't know which bartender it was since I was sitting at a table upstairs but that shouldn't really matter.

My father makes a bloody mary that has about 20 fresh ingredients in it. Few places can match it. I called him for the recipe once in college and I actually couldn't afford to make it on my meager college budget.
The only place that has come close is Hamilton Inn and their Bacon Bloody Mary. It is divine. I haven't tried the one at Skinner or M&P but am willing to believe those are probably decent too - but the bacon bloody....ugh now I want to go there and have, like, seven of them.

I'm love the White Star's. I don't know what's in it, but it's savory, not terribly complicated, and topped with cocktail olives on a little skewer.

I have to cast my vote for skinner's. And I take my brunch seriously. Though somehow I've never had one at white star, so that vote could change...I will soon.
