I'm almost waiting for someone to say "It's a city - If you don't want your cat's tail cut off, move to the suburbs!" Between the local government and the behavior that some people accept as routine, I sometimes think that in JC the inmates are running the asylum. I hope that someone catches this sicko in the act and mutilates the creep.

WTF is wrong with some people?

Please help find the person who is cutting off cats' tails in downtown Jersey City around 3rd St. between Coles and Jersey. A silver/white kitten was seen a few weeks ago missing a piece of its tail and has not been seen since. This morning, its mother was seen with NO tail and bleeding profusely and ran away when someone tried to help. Some disturbed person is doing this - they appear to be clean cuts. If anyone has any information about this, please call the police. Not only are cats in danger, but who knows what else this person is capable of.
