Yes, Hernandez is the best authentic PR/Cuban food in Jersey City. I raved about this place a few weeks ago when the Hardgrove was being discussed.
The prices are very low and the servings are very generous. I've been going to Hernandez for twenty years and the food is consistently excellent. Wanna try something really different? Ask for Morsillas (Spanish blood sausage).

Anyone else been to this place? My buddy tried it out and told me the food was outstanding. So, i tried it out and indeed it was. Probably the best spanish food i have had in Jersey City. Huge portions, cheap prices and the food is great. I had the roast pork. Just curious if anyone else has tried it out.
