Found them on Yelp with great reviews, and they were worth those. Took 2 - 2.5 hrs for a 2 BR inspection in JC and the report was as comprehensive as it could get, loaded with proof - the pictures.

is excellent - Have used him for 2 inspectons and a friend also used him. Our lawyer even commented on the thoroughness of his report. Cannot recommend him more highly.

I used Mike Fitzpatrick http://www.fmfconsultants.com/ for our first home purchase. He took two and a half hours for our 950 sqft condo and I dont feel he left any stone unturned. He was personable, his advice was really valuable and the report was thorough. (getting our seller to do any repairs was a different story however......) He is based in Morris County but knows Jersey City well and came out on a Saturday.

Recently entered the apartment purchase process. I had a recommendation from our buying agent, but found some less than convincing reviews for that inspector. Anyone know a good inspector for DTJC? Most I see with good reviews (yelp) only service NYC area, and are NY State certified.
