I'm considering a rental apartment in Downtown Jersey City in either the Newport or Paulus Hook areas. My preference is for a building with concrete flooring in between the units or one that is know for being quieter.

I don't mind outside noise however I would like to be insulated from the noise of my neighbor's footsteps above me, for example.

I saw some resonable rental prices in the Thomas Jefferson building in Newport.

Does anyone have rental building recommendations for units with concrete flooring? i.e. Gulls Cove, etc.
