Hi all,

The Grace Church Van Vorst used book sale has been serving Jersey City since 1997, with 100% of profits going to the church, helping to support a soup kitchen and all manner of other programs to help local residents in need.

You can learn more about those programs here:http://www.gracecommunityjc.com/

As we share our space at the church with these and other programs, we simply don't have enough room to process the growing volume of books that we handle. We're currently working to expand both our selection (around 3,000 books at present) as well as the volume of excess stock that we donate to prisons, immigrant detention facilities, domestic violence shelters, literacy charities, and other institutions.

Do you or someone you know have access to an unused space (ideally in or near downtown) that we could use, even temporarily, for this purpose? This could be an unused portion of your own facility, a vacant storefront, an empty building slated for eventual renovation/demolition, etc.

This is a great opportunity to help out the local community with minimal effort and zero cost.

If you or someone you know might be in a position to help, please email gracevvbooks@gmail.com.

Thanks, and we hope to see you at the sale!

Sincerely,
The volunteers of the Grace Church Van Vorst Used Book Sale
