Barnabas Health buys Jersey City property for $24M

Barnabas Health has purchased a piece of city-owned property adjacent to Jersey City Medical Center for $24 million, the city announced today. The health system will use the site to expand the Downtown Jersey City hospital. The sale price is double the amount the prior administration had sought for the 2.5-acre site.
