I have a penthouse in DM and will probably sell soon due to the kid thing. We didn't expect to have a kid so soon and our layout is not condusive to having a mobile child (spiral stairs, master bedroom upstairs, kid's bedroom downstairs, etc.)

Browsing through Trulia and Zillow is my hobby too. I wish I had taken a big loan 2 years ago, and pour that money into as many condos as I can buy. Would have made a nice profit by now by selling them.
Oh well.

My guess would be babies and the increase in prices. I live at Dixon Mills and I bought in 2011, if i sold now my apartment would go for about third more than what i paid it for it.
Lots of young couples are having babies, they stay at Dixon mills for a few years and then move to Maplewood or some other near by suburb. Good luck with that I say. NJtransit is the worst.

Hello,
It is a hobby of mine to browse real estate listing in DTJC, and I noticed something. Until a month or two ago, penthouse units at Dixon used to be rare. But recently it seems many owners are putting their penthouse units in the market. Not that I'm considering buying a unit at Dixon Mills because I like where I live, but I just wonder why suddenly many owners have become wanting to sell theirs. Atsushi
