Try: www.jerseycityrealestate.net

Use .net, not .com.

Good luck!

I have found StreetEasy.com and Realtor.com to be decent resources in the past.

I just closed on a condo in December. I used Trulia (and as others have noted, found it to be dated, but still useful), coldwell banker, and some others. Century 21's site seemed to be the most up to date (e.g., noting when things were under contract). I found my own realtor's site (Liberty) useless. Basically, I never found one source that was best and cross-referenced several on a regular basis.

I'm under contract with a place right now, while Trulia seems dated the real problem is that the inventory is tiny. Best of luck.

I have used Exit for two of my properties. They are pretty good, and you get email updates daily of what you are looking for and which area you are looking for.

They also have lots of foreclosure and short sales which I love:)

I used Michal Zaorski he is ok, but he does not know JC very well so you have to know what you want.

I also used http://www.coldwellbanker.com/ for a third property There I used the agent Naomi she is great she lives and works in JC, she has been in JC for over 30 years.

I would also suggest going to a neighborhood you like and look around, sometimes you can find for sale signs on homes that are not listed with agents and for sale by owner. Good Luck!

Try this website from Plaza realty up in the Heights you can narrow it down to what type of house and area you want to live in. The owner is very involved in community affairs within Jersey City.

Hey all

Testing the waters and looking into either buying a condo or 1-fam in JC. I've been looking at Zillow and Trulia, but many of the listings seem to be somewhat dated. Any other local realtor that has a website with updated listings? Or do I have to go old school and look in the paper? Thanks
