What is the exact type of "non profit" -- you might run into problems not having any insurance and throwing events -- few if any landlords want the liability.

I've noticed there are a ton of empty storefronts on Newark Ave. I'm doing some research now and looking for a place with a lot of street traffic to host a one day event for a non profit group.

I plan on calling up the numbers posted on the "for lease" signs, but any suggestions on how to get in touch with folks who might be amenable to lending out their space for a day would be appreciated. There may or may not be the possibility of a tax credit if they were to donate the space, I'm still looking into that.

Thanks!
