I know JCMC has an "urgent care" type service at their ER. At one point, they charged only a regular copay (not the ER copay). Not sure if this is still true.
You can make appointments (online) to visit the ER instead of waiting the 4 hours. https://libertyhealth.inquicker.com/

Is the takeaway from this thread that there are no good Urgentcare type places in JC and you have to go to Hoboken for that?

I'm also going with PromptMD in Hoboken.
I work right around the corner from them and was delighted to find they existed. I think it was an even hundred for a walk-in cash visit. About the going rate in a metro area. They also have a pharmacy that they do business with right next door so I went from walking in to having drugs in like literally 15-20 minutes. Exactly what you need when you're diseased and trying to get some work done.

The Astrahealth in Hoboken is also excellent and convenient to Light Rail and Path. Been to both PromptMD and Astrahealth - don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I've gone to Paulus Hook Health Stop before. They were really good. If I recall correctly they don't take health insurance but charge a pretty low amount - similar to a copay. They are on Warren Street.

Does anyone know of any walk-in/Urgent care clinics in Jersey City? Trying not to go to the ER or into Manhattan if I can avoid it.
