The Pavonia Outdoor Pool in Jersey City will be closed for up to three weeks for maintenance repairs.
Residents are encouraged to seek other locations to cool off, such as the Lafayette Pool and Aquatic Center , which is open Monday through Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. for lap/senior swim and from 4 to 7 p.m. for everyone. Full hours will begin at the end of the school year.
The Pershing Field Pool, meanwhile, is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Youth hours for children ages 13 to 17 (without parental supervision) are from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on school days and 1 to 6 p.m. on non-school days.http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... closing_of_the_pavon.html
