no, the Reservoir planning is passive. to single track you'll need to be creative around here, perhaps along the Hackensack out to Secaucus ...

I will pay you $20 if you let me watch you try to do five laps around that thing. The only pedaling anyone is going to do up there is on a paddleboat.

?In this vision, once the Reservoir redevelopment is complete, visitors will be able to:
?hike around the site and circumnavigate between levels easily ?kayak The Reservoir regularly from the new boathouse facility ?conduct activities in the restored structures ?picnic and relax on a new peninsula at the South end as well as additional land along the water?s edge. ?fish from all around the site via newly created trails ?conduct educational activities and classes in a variety of locations including an outdoor classroom, the restored structures, or ?in the field?. No mention of bikes so I would venture that they will not be allowed. Hikers and bikers don't mix well on small trails.

I understand that the Jersey City Reservoir in the Heights next to Pershing field is now open to the public and has some "trails" that go around it.
Judging by the header photo on the website ( http://www.jcreservoir.org/vision ) , sure looks like a single track mountain bike trail to me Does anyone know if trail biking is allowed there?
