f your request for access to government record has been denied, you have the right to challenge the custodian's denial by filing a complaint in Superior Court or filing a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC). Does anyone know what the deal is with the traffic cameras in general? I put in an OPRA request for footage of an accident and it immediately came back as "no records were located". At the scene the police did tell me to submit an OPRA and I said, "are these cameras actually filming anything" and they did say, "yes."

So what's the deal? Isn't there a rule about keeping footage? Incidentally the accident was only 3 days ago so it's not like I'm asking for old data.
