At various town hall meetings, different groups asked for the same thing - arts program for the children. The mayor then talked about sports program. I think there is room for both. Many arts program takes place in public libraries. I just saw Hoboken's budget which was published in the paper. They are spending $4.4 million. I believe Hoboken still have one library on 5th St. JC has numerous branches but we are spending $7.2 million.

do these qualify?

Art House Productions' Stages program - http://www.arthouseproductions.org/ca ... /category/education/list/

and the Hoboken Children's Theater -

our family has enjoyed performances and had friends that have participated in both.

I am looking for professionally run acting/singing/performing arts programs for children in the nearby area (NYC okay, too). Hopefully within 30 minutes of JC. Anyone have any ideas?
