New high school opens in Jersey City -- with freshmen class of 5 students

There's a new high school in Jersey City, but if you haven't heard of it, you're not alone.

The First Christian High School opened inside the First Christian Pentecostal Academy on Jersey Avenue last week with a freshmen class of five students -- all who graduated from the grammar school in June.

"We didn't advertise it," said Lisa Travis, one of four teachers assigned to the freshmen class. "We are starting with a small group and hope to grow from there."
