Hudson County and its municipalities have been awarded more than $750,000 in Clean Communities grants to fund litter cleanup efforts, state officials announced Monday.
Jersey City received $297,747, by far the most in the county and the second highest total in the state behind Newark. In all, the state Department of Environmental Protection awarded $13.86 million to 559 eligible municipalities and $1.73 million to the 21 counties.http://www.nj.com/jjournal-news/index ... y_gets_lions_share_o.htmlResized Image
