The 31st annual Jersey City Art & Studio Tour is returning, with many venues across the city participating as they welcome back attendees in person.
Last year’s JCAST was primarily held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and also featured open-air exhibits. As the tour comes back in person this year, more than 100 venues are taking part. It will also have curated tours by foot, bike, or bus.
‘Huge enthusiasm’ for in-person experience
The event will run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3; kickoff will take place on Sept. 30 at the Nimbus Art Center from 6 to 9 p.m., where there will be outdoor performances from the Nimbus Dance Company and Segunda Quimbamba; an outdoor artist mixer; and timed tours in the Nimbus Art Gallery and art spaces at ART150.
