Jersey City, NJ December 8th, 2007 Lex Leonard Gallery proudly presents the opening of
?Surface Changes?, an exhibition curated by Tenneal R. McNair. The show features photography by Erik Mech and Bryan Warakomski, as well as fashion and graphics by Corey Fleming for Eyesor. This exhibition is a visual discussion about society?s ever-changing exterior. Addressing the conflict between ?city development? and communal needs, viewers are given a chance to explore the correlation between the so-called alternative lifestyle of skateboarders and their connection to the broader community. ?Surface Changes? is an exhibit that addresses life beyond the sport, including a continuous search for a skate domain, when one is not provided, and the nomadic spirit of the athlete. The opening reception is Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 7-11PM. Lex Leonard Gallery is located at 143 Christopher Columbus Dr. 2nd floor. Downtown Jersey City, NJ. Exhibition Dates: December 3rd- January 7th, 2008 Gallery Hours: Thursday-Saturday 3-8PM CONTACT: Tenneal R. McNair, Curator Email: tenneal@lexleonardgallery.com tenneal86@yahoo.com Phone No. (201) 918-1518
