Award-winning selected shorts from the Black Maria Film Festival's 37th annual tour will be presented on Tuesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. on the main campus of New Jersey City University in Hepburn Hall, room 202. The program, which was co-curated by NJCU Integrated Media Arts Production MFA candidate Nicole Pometti and NJCU Professor and Black Maria Film Festival Executive Director Jane Steuerwald, focuses on topics of global concerns including personal stories of empowerment, LGBTQ issues, and social justice. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... -winning_shorts_urge.html
