Here is the irony, Phil Murphy has been in office 4 years 4 months and his budget is 41% larger than Chris Christie's last budget but it was the Democratic Murphy who cut JC funding. Also, let's get real, affordable housing and rent control properties are exempt from rising school taxes. But I am sure there are plenty of families from rent control and affordable housing tenants that use the public schools. Just maybe, the rules should be change and allow them to pay into the school budget.
