Our state is on the front lines of climate change.

Increasingly severe and more frequent storms, from Superstorm Sandy to Hurricane Ida, are flooding communities across New Jersey, from the Jersey Shore to Lambertville.

Jersey City sits in a particularly vulnerable position, sitting in the lowlands between the Newark Bay and the Hudson River.

Ida, which pummeled our city with 8 inches of water, flooded streets, totaled cars and damaged homes and businesses.
