Jersey City adding dozens of speed bumps to city streetsUpdated Jun 21, 2021; Posted Jun 21, 2021 Slow down, Jersey City drivers. Your vehicle will thank you for it. The city will add nearly 50 speed bumps across the city, starting June 28, Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop said in a Facebook post over the weekend. Three of the traffic-calming devices will be installed on Roosevelt Avenue between Mallory and West Side Avenue and four on Newport Parkway between Washington Boulevard and River Drive. “Next week we start installing the next round of speed humps on residential streets,” Fulop said in a Facebook post. “Towards the end of next week, I’ll post the timeline and exact locations for the next round of street paving, which will be an extensive 20+ miles throughout the city.” https://www.nj.com/hudson/2021/06/jers ... umps-to-city-streets.html
