Former Jersey City worker admits taking $300 bribeA former Jersey City employee admitted in federal court yesterday that he took a $300 bribe from a property owner seeking to change the zoning on a property without official city approval. Bennie Anderson, 60, of Jersey City, pleaded guilty to one extortion count in a federal courthouse in Newark.
