At Monday caucus Councilman Michael Yun asked city directors why seniors were not picked up for the past three months on the city's program to take them to the movies via buses. Councilman Rivera objected that a councilman would cross exam city directors. Yun has been sending emails to these directors with no results. Seniors are waiting for hours in the hot sun for the buses. The Faulkner Act says city council should first go the the Business Administrator before they speak to directors but no one raised a pep when Fulop closed down Newark Avenue for a pedestrian mall without the council approval. The Faulkner Act states only the city council has that ability. The city council creates law, not the mayor. The real circus happens at city hall with council aligned with the mayor covers up his actions when Fulop steps outside the bounds of government rules.
