Its interesting with now 5 seats up for grabs, a majority.
There has been scant talk about it - but its sure looks like a game changer in many ways beyond the board of ed. the new mayor has leveraged it to his benefit, the union would like to stop its hemorrhaging of influence and will B4K continue to throw its money around as it did in the municipal election? ======================================= Longtime school board trustee, current board president Mack to resign According to comments made to Reporter senior staff writer and columnist Al Sullivan, Suzanne Mack plans to resign from the Jersey City Board of Education this fall to assume new responsibilities at her job as a city planner in Bayonne. Mack is the longest serving member on the Jersey City School board, currently in her sixth term. ======================================= and the only mentioned of the election up till now including whose running - http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... ey_city_school_board.html ======================================= oh yeah, the election has been moved to November. but we still have an extra election in October. go figure.
