Jersey City school Superintendent Franklin Walker to retire in JanuaryJersey City public schools Superintendent Franklin Walker is retiring as of January, ending a 48-year career in the school district. Board of Education Trustee Marilyn Roman confirmed Monday Walker’s decision to retire.
