Looks like a runoff for Jersey City's Ward B council race Updated 6:01 PM; Posted 6:01 PM By Terrence T. McDonald The Jersey Journal JERSEY CITY -- Mira Prinz-Arey, who finished in first place in the Ward B council race Tuesday, is still shy of the number of votes she would need to avoid a runoff next month. There was a chance provisional votes would have given Prinz-Arey, 45, enough of a share of the vote to unseat incumbent Councilman Chris Gadsden. But those votes were counted today and Prinz-Arey remains at 49 percent of the vote, a county elections clerk told The Jersey Journal. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... i.html#incart_river_index

Well, I know a certain resident of Ward B who is an attorney and will be quite happy to help Ms. Prinz-Arey with the count.
Revenge is best served cold.

Results now up in the air for two Jersey City races By Terrence T. McDonald The Jersey Journal JERSEY CITY -- Two days after polls closed in Jersey City's municipal and school board contests, the results of two races remain up in the air and may not be decided until Monday. In the Ward B City Council race, Mira Prinz-Arey is within one percentage point of reaching the threshold that would allow her to claim victory without a runoff on Dec. 5 (she would need more than 50 percent of the vote). Prinz-Arey, an ally of Mayor Steve Fulop, challenged incumbent Councilman Chris Gadsden. Unofficial results show Gadsden, first elected to the council last year, is about 500 votes behind Prinz-Arey. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... r.html#incart_river_index
