Al Sharpton to speak at 3rd Jersey City prisoner re-entry conference

JERSEY CITY — The Rev. Al Sharpton will be among the guest speakers at this year's  prisoner re-entry conference, hosted by Mayor Steve Fulop and former Gov. Jim McGreevey.

McGreevey runs the Jersey City Employment & Training Program, which manages the city's prisoner re-entry and jobs programs. This will be the third prisoner re-entry conference the two have hosted since Fulop was elected mayor.

Sharpton will join attorney and Fox News personality Andrew Napolitano; U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman; Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

The conference will be held on Thursday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saint Peter's University's Mac Mahaon Student Center.
