Suspects Sought for Violent Overnight Attack - 400 Block of Summit

EMS units were called to the scene of a violent attack that had a person jumped then beaten by as many as five suspects on a street in Jersey City during the overnight hours. According to preliminary reports, police were called to reports of an assault in progress that happened at approximately 3:45 a.m. in the 400 block of Summit Avenue were arriving officers found the male victim suffering non-life threatening injuries after the suspects reportedly approached then began beating on him for an unknown reason.
