You need to call the police, and talk with your Council person about your concerns.

Hi Roman -
I've been living in the neighborhood & walking through McGinley Square on a daily basis for 10 years. Yes, there are a few homeless folks and panhandlers around, but over the period of time that I've lived here, the neighborhood (in my eyes, at least) has become much safer.
I hope you can find a way to prevent trespassers from entering your property... I'm sure city government will assist, but I don't think I'd rely on them entirely to solve this for you.
Good luck!
- Brian

I live in McGinley Square and my neighbors and I have been having problems with vagrants in the Neighborhood. Specifically I have a basement entrance under my stoop the homeless use as a public toilet and convenient spot to do drugs. Also as the weather has gotten colder the panhandlers are getting really aggressive if you don?t reply. They harass the employees at Burger King, and one older black dude who obviously has mental health issues is generally banned from most shops. My brother got me Fulop?s email and I was wondering if anybody else had a specific story they wanted to share.
