on November 17, 2015 at 8:54 AM, updated November 17, 2015 at 9:08 AM This morning's fatal shooting is the 19th homicide in Jersey City this year and the third since Thursday, when a 19-year-old was shot dead at Winfield and Ocean avenues. One person was shot dead in Jersey City early this morning, police said in a radio transmission. At around midnight police responded to a shooting at Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue, according to the police transmission. The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health where he was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m., according to the transmission. More Tragedy
