A 29-year-old Jersey City man was sentence to eight years in prison yesterday after having been convicted on multiple drug counts on May 27, an officials said yesterday. Roberto Burgos of Wayne Street was found guilty of possession of cocaine, drug distribution, drug distribution within 1,000 feet of school property and drug distribution within 500 feet of public property, Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Gene Rubino said. The charges stem from April 9, 2014 when Burgos was selling drugs at the intersection of Wayne and Barrow streets in Downtown Jersey City, Rubino said. More
