Police searching for man who stabbed Jersey City resident

Police are searching for a man they say stabbed a Jersey City resident three times late Thursday night.

Police responded to the victim's residence on Jewett Avenue, where the 26-year-old told police that he had been stabbed. The victim told police he was walking near the intersection of Gifford and Bergen avenues around 8 p.m. when he was approached by a man who told him, "Give me everything in your pockets."
