A Jersey City man was stabbed with a broken bottle Wednesday near a late night Fourth of July barbecue, The Jersey Journal reports.
Officer responded to a grassy area at York and Brunswick streets around 11:30 p.m. after a man walked into the Jersey City Medical Center with a stab wound. The half dozen men barbecuing began packing items into a van and police noticed a trail of blood on the sidewalk leading to the Old Colony lot, the report said.  JJ
